You Were on My Mind

If my thoughts could transport me,
I’d come and be with you tonight.
For poverty has grounded me,
And forces me to give up flight.

But if my thoughts could transport me,
We would have a lot of time to share.
For you’re on my mind and in my heart,
That’s as close as I can get to being there.

How my thoughts transport me,
When I think about you.
I fly away from where I am,
At just the thought of you.

Your words were so very heartfelt and I could relate so well to how you must have been feeling when you wrote it.

This is a favourite quote of mine that I'd like to share and it most certainly applies to you :
