I ache for crimson
Red heat my spirit does desire
I bask in emerald
Cool green my ardor finds
I wish for peace
Demons explode my mind
I embrace love
It sometimes fails me
Soft blue I want around
Still wondering what will astound
My words don’t always make sense
Maybe I am on the fence
Sometimes just a poem is the clue
I ache for crimson
And many other hues

Paul

Life is full of so many colors...sometimes we ache for ones we don't have.  I think each color has a time, like seasons...we just have to wait for them.  Loved the poem!

Hello Paul

I hope that your life is filled with color and love.  It is so nice to see you here again, I've missed you.

For you :

In our life
there is a single color,
as on an artist's palette
which provides the
meaning of life and art.
It is the color of love.

Take care.....Sue

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

Hi, Paul. It's nice to meet you. I loved the words to your poem. Like the rest of you, I think the most beautiful "color" in life is the color of love. And what's so good about it is that the color of love is whatever we want it to be. Agree? Thanks. I hope to read more of your work soon.
