my opinion is
almost useless
for the world
just as its views
should be worth
just about a penny
but then I am
penny wise,
pound foolish

I listen to the world
time and again:
cry my pains in
the wilderness of a dry desert,
shame my name -
again and again;
with outstretched palms
begging for attention
undivided (if I may)

I have no balance
just weights
and they are
dragging me down
deep, very deep
and I am trying to pull out
breathing borrowed airs
to rise again
and they say slow down
patience is a virtue

and I listen again
to hear wails in the wind
echoing my sentiments
and I lie here
sedimented on the streets
the paper box is my home
and darkness my ceiling

hurry up world,
it is getting cold
my patience is wavering
and I am turning into
one of the weights
heavier than lead
else I shall become
impossible to be
dragged

(like a tombstone
rooted to its spot)

Sud...I read part one and this and also your "illusions" ... you seem to be in a place of deep introspect and retrospect...
these are written from places deep as you search for the answers from within...
excellent use of imagery to compliment your expressions and impressions.
Carry on poet sir...your pen is your voice.
Heres to exploring and discovering.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sudhir, I can relate to how you feel ever so well, don't let them discourage you, the real fools are those who won't listen to anothers opinions such as yours, they are who should be ashamed as we all have a voice, a song to sing of great worth! (sigh) My heart goes out to you, sweet friend, this is a wise and provocative write, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
