I was just a Dutchie lass
Who wrote feelings in a book
Then one day decide upon
Giving them a different look

I was walking down webpages
When I found those pages blue
Didn't know what hit me then
But apparently it was you

Took me by surprise you know
Thought I had come to heaven
Reading all that poetry
The clock went passed eleven

I went passed 3.00 AM too
Felt no notion of the time
Realized that I had drownd
In a fountain full of rhyme

So I tried to speak your tongue
Grammar wasn't always tight
But I had this hope you see
That you'd understand me right

And so you did from first day on
Took me in as a lost child
Encouraged me to write my poems
In your critiques you were mild

We have become a family
Close and caring I might say
Thanks to Ron who started this
We should hug him all one day

Shared the death of relatives
Prayed to God, most of you do
Giving strength when one's in need
But we have our good laughs too

That week when I was travelling
And needed to be on my own
There wasn't a single moment
That I felt really alone

Where ever I was going
I knew that someone was there
Whom I could call when needed
A friend that really would care

Please listen to this Dutchie
Because I want to tell you
Whenever you need a hug
Just grab me, I need yours too

A quick reply to let you know how much fun it was getting to be with you and all the pip friends...I absolutely loved your treat even if we didn't have the correct ingredients..it is now a favorite of mine and I can't wait to try it on my own...it was delicious ...thank you Titia, for your friendship

I wrote you a three stanza thank you poem and then I clicked on the wrong X and off it went and now I don't remember the words anymore.
