I've faced a bull,
Showed no fear.
Verbally wrestled
With Balladeer.

Fought Vietcong
(There I was scared)
Bullets and bombs
Everywhere

Gone up against
Surgeons with knives
So many times
I've risked my life

I've fought in the streets
Won and lost
Win or lose
There is a cost

One thing I fear
Can't keep it hidden,
It's the horror I've found
Of scornful women.

I can't help but be curious as to what prompted this write. Was it something I said? hehe

Well, one thing is for certain, if you've faced the Vietcong and Balladeer, you certainly can take the heat from women, afterall, don't you regard us as the weaker sex? haha

P.S. This poem has me wondering what you might have done to incur the wrath of women?
Personally, I think you are a sweetie pie!

Note to Toe: No need to fear, dear... though if I recollect correctly, that bull certainly earned your respect the hard way! LOL Any woman who'd be scornful of you isn't really female... it's just Balladeer playing the imposter again. LOL Now we may be scornful of each other... but that's another poem altogether! LOL

I like this very much, sweets...

Toe,
I HAD to read this after I saw the title.
My friends call me "the girl with NO FEAR".

And ah yes, be warned
Fear the women scorned!

Toe,
I would you know your heel from your toe
But about women I just don't know.

Sea...I always play nice with ladies..unless they prefer naughty?

INclan...Hell's like a moderate day in Alabama compared to a woman's scorn for sure

Earthie one...I wrote this a few years ago after a bout I had with a friend's bull that got loose....just never posted it...but, a scorned woman and that bull were comparable. And thanks for the "sweetie" comment sweetie.

Suthern...I still "recollect" the bull everytime I feel that "pain" in my ribs....and I'll work on that Balladeer poem...

Irie....you have no fear?...Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night with Toerag laying next to you?....(ya wanna)

Sy....I know heel from Toe....and I know Woe from women....Toe knows yanno?

There's much sizzle in this verse
(Now that the street fights have dispersed)
That bull may sizzle on some grill
(If at Ruth’s Chris, you’ll have some bill!)
And poor Bal sizzles in frustration
That he’s lacking your persuasion
With ladies sizzling with passion...
You’ve quite a sizzling poem fashioned!

ROFL... Now aren't you glad I didn't try to work the surgeons into this lil ditty? LOL

Did I mention that I like your poem LOTS? *G*

Toe - good one. Keep your back to the wall when a woman scorned enters a room!! Chris

Poor Toe! I know you are forlorn
But what can you expect but scorn?
Your nose hairs reach your bottom lip
The way you scratch yourself ain't hip
Your burps sound out for many miles
Three days of food shows in your smiles
You need to find a  different gang..
Next time try an orangutang!!

You have learned well my friend. Never deal with a scorned woman. Puts the fear into every man. And we are so good at it.
