My loyalty is my failing, I think. I am loyal to you, oh yes, loyal more than anything, loyal so much that it hurts. When you are sad, I cry. When you cry, I weep. My obsession with you destroys me, tears at my heart. You are my sun, my stars, my earth and sea and sky. Do I love you? Yes. Am I passionate? Yes, yet my passion is in my ardor, not in lust. You are merely a friend, yet the word seems to cheapen, to shrivel how I feel. You are my obsession. I am loyal before anything. . . Hmm... I don't know what I think of this one. It was interesting. again I must say sometimes its funny how poetry can reflect another total perfect stranger's feelings and thoughts at the time...makes perfect sense..not weird but maybe thats me and my twisted sense of reality at the time...is it the moon or the koolaide I had earlier!? Consider yourself fuzzed |
