Sunlight bathed
My Soul Today
As I walked
In the gardens
Of my mind
Admiration filled my eyes
As I came across
The loveliest sight
This rose
How could it be
That this beautiful creation
Blossomed amongst the darkness
And coldness of my numb
Shattered memories
This rose
I found today
As I stumbled within the
Labrynth of my dreams
It's beauty a token
Of what you've done for me
It's thorns not as menacing
As they appear to be
Because of you
You've dulled the pain
Once again I thank you
For your sweet friendship
And as a token
Of my utmost gratitude
Please share with me
This rose...
