I am building a temple for you
in my mind
each brick another piece of you
priceless imperfection
marbelized to sheen
all of your faults
a river
of intricate patterns
I can trace
with one finger licked
finding myself
in spiderweb lines
amazed
that there is one out there
so close to the design of me...

But this?
is YOU
and cannot be
my manipulation
no--
no shovel must unearth the stone
I dare not risk
the damage
of my persistant
pound of curiosities.

So I will be good
and sit aside
watching the wonder of you arise--
a city lost
and now found
by a sandstorm in reveal.

To un-mask the heart and soul
To share life's dreams un-told
Should you be so bold?

Paul?

I do not know another way
to say things I need to say--
so I toss the mask away
and pray that underneath is gold.

The sun is coming up sometime soon.  Too bad my window doesn't look that way.  Maybe I'll just move into another room.

A temple of words, beautiful words, K. I like this one alot, more than words will let me express.

Don't drag the orchestra into this thing
Rattle those sticks, rattle those sticks
The sound is beautiful, its perfect!

Serenity,
I notice your writing with shovel
more and more --
digging digging digging.

Stones and cities.

(sigh) Oh Karen, this is so wonderfully written, sweet friend, sometimes it helps to just take someone as one is and fail and try to analyze someone brick by brick as the spiderwebs are all part of being! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
