Tired dribblings from a cracked pen
my heart bleeds
…….so I write
helplessly
to you, again

Unread devotion
that gain’s no sympathy
nor evokes tears
and wastes
none of your emotion

I am told by the silence
~lack of reply~
without effort
without thought
you’ve bidden me, good riddance…..

Susan,
Where is this lout? Let me at him! I'll straighten him out. What was he thinking?

P.S. I can't get your email to work.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Larry, it's just what came out when I read the challenge earlier this evening. Nothing personal for me (thank goodness)

I haven't even checked into my email as of yet....I may have to change it hang in there, should have it fixed up by Monday!

Oh is your poetry and pretty smiling face a sight for sore old eyes!  I am SO glad to see and read you.  And...I can't get your email to work either - see, we have missed you sweet one.  I am so glad to see you here, and this is very sad, very sad.

Very nice. Happy to read you.

Seems you took a hiatus, the moment I joined.
Hope it wasn't my breath.

Many, many are glad for your return.

SEA - I find it amazing to write what is inside, yet not really be in that situation...

The heck with good riddance!  I don't know who you THINK you've written to but by gosh and by golly, it wasn't your poet friends!  Get back in here!  You can't leave yet!
