The Pencil Slinger

Hey there pencil slinger
You look pretty tough
  ready to draw
What stinging words
are you ready to thrust
into the abyss of paper's light

Careful now, that's a dangerous game
You could get hurt
Once written it will leave its mark
and that's a mark that can scar
the heart
  from inside out

SimplyGold - yes indeed is the pen mighty. Words written, you have thought of the possibilities of them...

I've read your poetry Bill, You handle that pencil well. Me thinks you are a slinger.

Paladin,

I would bet your pen is black and I know you pack two in that pocket protector. I've noticed you draw best at sundown.

Simply delightful! I'm looking for more of your poetry because I love it! So here we go again to the top! Your words should be read! This should get a few chuckles. You did this really well!
