Sweet Dessert

let me touch
your pain
ease
this hurt
I too
have drunk
salty tears
in sorrow’s concert
I have felt
so small
and quite alone
where silence
can literally
rattle
your bones
in your heart
lives
sheer poetry
the very sigh
of life
wanting to be
set free
so let me
help you
in your pain
share the burden
of your hurt
and I shall
drink your tears
as a
friend’s dessert

Interesting idea, but a salty dessert, usually desserts are sweet,
Maybe those salty tears could be appetizers with sweetness coming after you ease the pain and sooth the hurt.
Just a thought, liked the poem

(big hugggssssss) Yes, and may the salty tears like a jawbreaker slowly reveal a sweet soft center of replenished joy and hope for you! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Loved this pense. The blending of yearn and promise.

A fine write
