Green to chartreuse
Green to lemon yellow
Green to dandelion yellow
Green to pumpkin orange
Green to burnt sienna
Green to bittersweet
Green to mahogany
Green to copper
Green to carrot orange
Green to bright reds

The Northern woods are aglow
The change starts out slow
One day all is green and shiney
Then God shows us He is Almighty

The show changes daily for me
First just a bit and hard to see
Blink my eye and more change
Bit by bit the color show gains

A pictures worth a thousand words
But can't see what my eye records
This color show from God's palette
Will last 'til the snow covers it

ME,
Wish I could see what you see! Nice write and cool topic. Good to see you here, btw.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thank you, Larry.  This is the only time of the year I would miss if I moved away.  And it smells sssooo good out side.

Yes, the canvas of eternity.

Thank you.

"A picture's worth a thousand words."

---Well, Mother, you just painted a thousand pictures with your words!

I loved this! I especially thought how interesting it was having everything going from its green state. Very effective!

~ Have a beautiful day! But then again, you can have any kind of day you desire--'cause you're Mother Earth! hehe ~

Mother_Earth, your words paint a beautiful scene in which to marvel and delight! God created the marvelous scene and gave you the inspiration to write.  Thanks for sharing!
