Visions

I see dragons in the distance
Full of awe and veiled insistence
Circling in infinity
Close to our vicinity.

Puffing smoke and fires fume
Scorching all the fields abloom
Flying o’er the dogma stay
Passing o’er naiveté.

Building castles for their rune
Within the shadows of the moon
Using up our living force
Sapping from our only source.

Their drink an acids play with death
They’re breathing a fires breath
Consuming every ounce of meal
Every ounce that they can steal

A dragon lives in each of us
An omnibus of over plus

Seymour darling heart did you miss me? I can't wait for tomorrow, see you here.!!!!

As always this is simply stunning writing, and the quality shines through. Now don't get lost on the way to us, but if in doubt go via Tampa airport, we know the way from there. You have no idea how often we have visited that place. Even when we don't intend to.
Love and warm stuff

I love the bit of fantasy the beginning images play out for us...and then reality kicks in, how easily fantasy can fool us and we can end up in sorrow for our naiveté.

Excellent piece, Sy!

Sy

I took the dragons breath
as the fire on the mountain crest
looking for more homes to burn
your poem became my concern

can you send a water breathing one
I promise him would be much fun

Seymour - Too bad all our dragons couldn't be like "Puff"...and make us and others smile. I enjoyed this poem a little late to-day as I haven't been feeling too well. But, I am glad I am up to reading abit this evening. Chris

Seymour - ah, the dragon, you write about this part of one well. Mine is there, but know not where, yet it will stay, not to play...
