Listening to the dead phone line I sit in complete silence All except the beeping that tells me you aren't there Pain that is unbareable overtakes me and tears spring from my eyes My heart bleeds because you aren't here Minutes without you are as hours Hours spent in pain and torment Spent longing for you and your touch Longing to be near to you to be intwined with you To be so close I can't seperate my body from yours Laying with you for hours doing nothing except listening to the beating of your heart I ache for you, for the feeling of my hands in your hair My fingers locked with yours Your arms around me So don't go so quick Linger with me Stay, just don't go |
