Pastures

A magic kiss o’er the abyss
Into the sea of measureless
To sail the future like a dove
To billow the sails of my love

Twill pale the dark of bevy clouds
Twill lift the weight of shriven shrouds.
Twill stow the blight of heavy gray
And hoe the light of joy and gay.

It will layer the mist of dawn
Into crystals of early morn
And make the blue to gold of day
A mood of happiness to stay

It will guide you in the circles fare
Back to my arms just waiting there
It will lure you like an angels harp
Without a flat without a sharp

To end your ever searching goal
In the pastures of my soul

Mr. T.---

I didn't want to be the one to tell you this, but I think this was already written about in the Bible---something about "lay me down in green pastures...."  tehe

All this beauty from a magic kiss?
Then by all means...
bring on those lips of bliss.

It will guide you in the circles fare
Back to my arms just waiting there

(works for me)

could that verse be any cooler?

I sit in pastures dry and weathered
picking up a lost owl's feather
hoping to see these pastures covered
in deep snow drifts, in whitest smother

for dry this land has been this year,
and green shall not come just from tear
moisture's needed so that come spring
wild daisies should then dance in ring

and that is where you'll find me, Sy...
so come and picnic with butterflies
