Lightning Storm
By: Noah Eaton
9/24/02

Bolt from the blue hit my mind
Parallel volcanoes quake upon this lonely futon
This electrostatic heart bleeds once more
The sun is sandwiched between Thor's gong

Your sighs make my heart tremble
Your lava breath lovingly fondles
Your sighs make my heart tremble

Inside my dreams
Every day it seems
Glaciers shatter in my yearning heartbeat
Take my hand
Take me as I am
We'll draw a rainbow when we meet...

Evanescent sirens screech
With coronas that burn like embers of the fire
Standing there like flagman at a railroad crossing
Amplifying these monochromatic desires
You swath like a beacon in a lighthouse
You're burning up the coals of the skies
Blood red skies stained like Hawaiian punch
Graupel tears that shatter windows and streetlights

Ice pierces the earth like stalactites
Every time you lovingly sigh
Stained-glass smooches through the night

Inside my dreams
Every day it seems
Glaciers shatter in my yearning heartbeat
Take my hand
Take me as I am
We'll draw a rainbow when we meet...

I heard your whisper through a satellite
Through a UHF Television Signal
Turning on and off like a gaslight
You're speaking to me in metronomes
Red sprites are playing hide and seek
It's such unbearable heat
This thunder gives my lungs migraine
Anvils are falling endlessly
Maybe this storm
Will soon fall asleep...

Inside my dreams
Every day it seems
Glaciers shatter in my yearning heartbeat
Take my hand
Take me as I am
We'll draw a rainbow when we meet...
Inside my dreams
Every day it seems
Hurricanes spread spider lightning through my arteries
Put your arms around me
Kiss me baby
Through this storm of lightning...

Dream on, my love
Dream on, my love
Dream on, my love
Soon we'll be together...

"Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..."

Shakira

Noah, no one can write about a dream and a storm better than you. This is exceptional my friend.

Noah,

The fact that I love lightning,
(as long as I am inside since I've proven to be a good conductor )
makes this piece that much better to me!

Wonderful work m'friend
