~
In the hills of Tipperary,
I spied a beautiful fairy.
It trilled sweetly to me,
"I'm a he, not a she,
My name is Larry, not Mary!

Laughing myself silly!  Oh thank you for this great giggle at the end of the day.

Do I take this on face value or is there an underlying meaning here?

Hugs and stuff, Marti

Marti---

I'm glad you're laughing yourself silly. I was being silly when I wrote it! No, there's no hidden meaning! This is far from being deep! haha

Enjoy your evening!

Well if you do spot Mary, dear,
tell her there's lambs, I fear.
They number quite a large flock.
Something something rhymes with ... rock?

Ha ha ha! Deepless.

SO you saw one of the little people, they must be indigenous to Tipperary, cos there are none in Clare.
Enjoyed the poem.

Julie---

Do you have any fairies in Florida? We do in Ontario---I can see them from my window dancing on the waters of the lake on starlit nights. hehe

Brian---

Are you from County Clare?
I know that fairies live there.
I met two where the road did fork,
One was Mindy and one was Mork!

WhiteRose---

I love to hear  your laugh---at least I can imagine what it sounds like by your photo!
Did I ever tell you that you look a lot like a cousin of mine? She's pretty too! Actually, I think it's her laugh I must be hearing! hahaha!
