somebody's dungeon

From mountain top I still see.
Not with blinders of height,
nor distortion of mile.
I see the world in detail,
so frail.

Beaten not by wind nor water,
nor natural enemy.
Instead I see an earth abused
by the human society.

Ashamed, I could look away
pretend this day,
a view was not perceived.
And peaceful then
come the eve,
find myelf
in midst of lie,
but why?

It's saddening
that a world could fall
on it's knees,
in defeat,
to a race of angry men,
who feel to use
is most often
the survival of the strong.

How wrong!

The earth is bruised
and pained.
May never regain
it's glory.
That once it shared
in colors fair,
in breed so rare.

It may be lost,
gone into sleep.
And even from the mountain top
all of this I see,
and weep,
for the treasure
we knew
not how
to keep.

Oh, I hear you, dear Rose of White! But, I suppose the polyanna aspect of myself prefers to look at all the beauty and brotherhood out there, or it takes the wind out of my sails and I get stuck in a no man's land. That can be very depressing.

No matter what you write about, you do it extremely well. This was no exception!

Let's pray that it is not to late and that we can help our beautiful earth heal. Well done. Chris

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Anne, this is so heartbreaking, I consider myself a Cassandra and feel technology is only ravaging nature and the source: mankind, must be taught to stop this injustice! (big hugggssssss) This is powerfully heartaching, sweet friend, I pray for a miracle to our Mother, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Anne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
