Poets Invade Delightful DeLand ~*Marge Tindal*~ Delightful DeLand The Athens of Florida ... proud Awaits the poets from around the world who will have us laughing out loud~ Krissy will arrive with sleepy eyes  To try to kiss-nap Dallas~ She's in for a treat when Kirby she meets and the birds-of-a-feather will want to gawk and squawk at all these ladies I've gathered~ Kethry in-tow will love the places we go~ Maureen my long-time friend will share with me a long over-due grin~ Titia will gather soil from the mecca of this land Transporting it in tiny containers to deliver to another's hand~ (and gather knuffels to take back to Muys !) MarshaLove will soar with friends of her adore Bill will be the gent-of-the-day Those gals won't let him get away~ We'll dine in style at Main Street Cafe The restaurant Steven Tindal manages in a very special way~ My brother, Tony, will meet us to share a laugh or two He'll crack the girls up as he can certainly do~ June and her Bill will join us and we'll head for her home for dessert Then off to see Kimberly and David Tindal parents of Delightful Delaney who is the cutest little flirt~ And me ... ? I'm just going to be the happiest poet of us all~ Then the weekend at the Villa in Tampa ... over New Port Richey way will culminate in other PiP friends coming over to play~ *This beautiful gathering has been a long time in the planning ... and now IT'S A HAPPENING tomorrow !! Oh, somebody keep my feet on the ground ... I'm just in poetic heaven !  PiP Florida Meet September 2002 ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

LOL ... it's really Marge .... Honest Injun ! ----------------------------------------------------Whewwwwww ! This lovely gaggle of poets JUST left here~ Oh my god .... we had SO MUCH FUN~ DeLand will never be the same~ A swell time was had by all ... and my what lovely folks~ We had 12 of us for lunch ... DELICIOUS~ Visited June and Bill's museum home .. I'll let the girls tell you all about it~ They ALL got to give Delaney Delight .... Auntie *hugs* ... and true to form ... Delaney 'performed' like a little champion ~ I'm sure the photos will make their way to the forums .... it was a true blessing to me to be able to have her meet them~ This day is recorded in her baby book~ We came back here and Bill serenaded us for a wonderful show~ Marsha got me on the dance floor ... and did her own therapy on my back !  All in all ... I am so happy ! Anybody surprised ? Nah !
