Sweet butterfly kisses
Beneath the moonlight
A midnight rendevous
With destiny
Is telling me
That maybe it's time
To move on from the past
And give happiness
And this new found friend a try
My heart
Has been holding back
Afraid to move on
I was only holding onto memories
And a love
That seems to have gone wrong
I'm sorry
That all I ever do is push and pull you away
But I guess
That's God's way of telling me
It isn't meant to be
Thus he gave me tonight
To open up my eyes
To the endless possibilities
I promise
I'll try not to come running back
If things go astray
I've been down that path before
And it doesn't always go our way
I'm most confident
I can do this on my own
Get back on my feet again
And give destiny another chance
And allow myself to finally dance beneath the stars
I'm sorry
My Dear Friend
But I think
That maybe its for the best
And something is telling me that it's time to move on...

First I would like to welcome to pip. I hope you enjoy the atmosphere, and the people here. It is truly a circle of friends and family. Your poetry, and you, will be welcomed with open arms.
I like this post very much! It seems to fit the course that my life has taken recently. Funny how that works isn't it?
I look forward to reading more of your work!!

By the way, I haven't heard anyone refer to Fraggle Rock in quite some time. I was always partial to those little construction workers.
