eyes of glass
    turn winter pale,
death takes this
    last advantage

words broken
    and unending
youth perspective
    twisted to elder vantage

as bleached skin
    fawning in frozen snow
we are virgins
    in a devil's dance

fate laughs at
    our foolish desire
as we seek to
    find a romance

in the words of yoda: "Do or do not. There is no try."

cool lines lady, excellent title not only in and of itself, but for the relationship (and clarifying nature) with the content.

PdV,
Eyes of glass...doesn't that make you blind? Then how is it you see so clearly? Hmmmmm...

(smiles) Oh Sharon, this is so very ntrue, it may sound so foolish when we search for love at first but then once it comes true then the joke is on fate! (big hugggssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sharon, I think you just might be correct in these lines. Hope is that we might ourselves laugh off fate's grim outlook. Enjoyed. Chris
