Pilfered Thought
~*Marge Tindal*~

'Forgive the thief' that steals the night
slipping in at break of day
Pilfering the dreams of those
counting sheep along the way~

She dawns the morn in sweet adorn
forging colors in artistic ink
Spreading golden glow of quill
on my avenue of think~

That another poet
could inspire a pilfered thought today
Is just another Passions' perk
that happened to come my way~

~Thank you, Seymour~

Ah Marge ... when I read the title and verse, I knew the inspiration was dear Sy. A lovely write - isn't it wonderful how one's thoughts touch another in this magical place?  Much enjoyed.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Margie, if someone could inspire with their words, it would definately be Sey. This is lovely gal~

You'd think after all these years, I'd be mundane about your poems. NOPE! Your words still continue to knock me over and leave me saying, "WOW!"

Leave it to the two Floridians to come up with great poems to go with the word, pilfered.

Hugs, Marti

Marge,
You were a thief in my night and I saw you coming. But no need for alarm! Well done...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
