One day on a beautiful beach,
Admiring all that my eyes could reach.
Was a little girl sitting in the sand alone,
Had toys but all her smiles were all gone.
Saw her parents lazing in the sun,
Not recognizing she wasn't having much fun.
So I called my lil’ sister, told her “go play”
With the lil’ girl, till her sad face goes away.
The parents looked across and smiled at me.
though they missed the point in all honesty.
Each sunny hearted day burst with promise,
of opportunities to share our happiness.

What a lovely visual HaydenJames ... it's amazing how strangers can see a perspective that others closer, seem to miss. You've captured this nicely in this sweet tale, well done.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Through your kindness and generosity of spirit, you put a smile on that little girl's face---and you have put one on mine as well.

Lovely little story, lovely little poem.

A wonderful act of kindness that evolved into a wondeful poetic penning.  Well done.
