I'm still experimenting with free verse, so bear with me ya'll!!!  The Circle of Life _______________________________________ For each ending A new beginning For each beginning A new end The circle of life surround us Enfolds us within its warm embrace Whether or not we choose to see it It is always there Like the embers of the fire Which once were living wood Become ashes... Which become earth... It is inevitable... Like we Flesh and blood Are reduced to earth Once departed From mortal coil Do not fear it Embrace the circle It is inevitable... Weather proof coffins Are still reduced to dust The shell of humanity Locked inside Will still be returned To Mother Earth... With time, Even mountains move... Like the arid desert Which once was sea Returns to dust and sand Like Mars From Venus In cataclysm arose We, from the ashes From the earth Arise again It is inevitable... Embrace the circle |

I like your premise and some of the word combinations are excellent. Keep on with your free verse, you have talent. Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |
