Across The Span of Time by Earth Angel & Bill Charles ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Across the realm of vast, blue sky While willows weep and winds do sigh I reach across the span of time Seeking he, who once was mine If I were to look into clouds of white Listen to the cry of breezes flight My hand I give to one of known of grace I seek you out whom I would chase Memories lost, in long ago Flood my soul with indigo As I rise up in dark of night His beacon soul's my guiding light Thoughts I've lost in times past Yet now to have all surpassed Darkness would not be of me This light guides affectionately I travel far beyond the stars Beyond this Earth and planet Mars I search through all, time and space For my true love's, shining face One thousand miles are these dreams Further still to ride soft moonbeams Look no further through the heavens My search is over, no longer in visions A will-o-the-wisp, a spirit free A part of him dwells still in me This unquenched thirst will be replete When joined as one, two souls complete A released soul, a being to roam freely Yet in my depths uncontrollably Two became one, once in a lifetime Joining, from acoss the span of time [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (09-18-2002 11:03 PM).] |
