Dear heart,

I wanted to say, but....

I never had the heart, the courage...
I cannot say now...that I can...
That I do...

Tomorrow my love....Yes, tomorrow...
At the rise of a new day, the set of
our moon....Then my love...then I will..

I know...Yes my love, I know..
I know that you are my greatest gift..
That each moment, each second, each grain
our love’s sand....falling... are treasured..
I live to see you breath, I wake to feel your trace..

I dream...endless dreams that you may
always be here....beside me...

What man could ever...
Ever not love, not fall so deeply
so passionately in love....with you..

What man can ever walk away, without shedding
countless tears, without the sobs of loneliness
as your shadow fades into the mist of morn...

I must, though I scream inside, unheard agony
that escapes my mind....as my lips....moan...
I must leave....

My darling, may our souls eternally be bound
as one... As our hearts beat a single beat of passion

upon the set of our moon....in lover’s sway...

very romantic and painful...why must you leave, there's no inkly given, are we to merely guess? The reader and the one left?

Are you committed elsewhere to someone else, is she who is being left? Are you unable to be committed no matter how great your love? Must we be left with the ache of not knowing?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Hmmmm!  Beautiful beyond belief, Barry...
but so many questions...
I believe that Virginia has asked them...
now I ask them too!

This is a love that I know, now in words.

Thank you.

thank you Loner...appreciate your kindness..

Virginia....don't you know that curiousity
always kills the cat and lady poets?

Where was this headed?  I would guess that
in my fictional mind,  possibly from some
occurence in my reality world,  I have always
lost grasp of that which I dearly loved,
for one reason or another....In this case,
I was having to depart for war....that was
my thought of where I was headed...After
having met and fallen in love...very deeply
in love with a most beautiful woman...one
who I had to leave behind...and might never
see again...

OK,  does that help....Hope so?......thanx
for the interest...and I don't mind explaining
what my thoughts were....sometimes there
really aren't any....

(big hugggssssss) Oh Barry, these are such wonderful questions that somehow can be so inconceivable to answer, it seems unfortunately there are some who just can't cope with a lovers needs and so sadly there are some but nevertheless the beauty of love remains and lives on as in your heart! (sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Well, I see that VAS has already asked the questions I wanted to ask but probably wouldn't have because I'm a little bit shy---and thank you for graciously answering them. I see Madame Chipmunk had her curiosity peaked as well! Lovely writing--as usual!

Magnus, this has all the earmarks of heartache, and goodbyes or farewells are absolutely the hardest words to ever say to someone you love
or loved.  The hesitant, almost stuttering style of the piece lended itself very well to the reluctant heart needing to part with another.  Great job, Mag!

So soothing to the page, as a caress to the cheek of this loved one.  A beautiful expression of nature's way...as one door closes, and one sun sets.
Always find such depth inside these presents that you leave us. ThisDiamond

Through the years, the tears from parting could build an ocean...you have expressed the torment, the ache and the inevitable so well here.

Magnus darling heart, there’s not another writer who can capture the heart wrenching pain the way you do. This is so incredibly sad, so full of heart’s farewell that I had tears falling, truly I did.

I’m so glad I got the chance to read this tonight, it is indescribably beautiful, the flow that hesitant trickle of words that fall from between lips that are pressed together in the hope of holding them back. Ohhhhhhh how wonderfully you write. Thank you darling friend you have indeed written beauty.

I’ll be off into the wide blue yonder Friday, so I will not be around much tomorrow and after that very briefly for the next month. Don’t forget me while I’m gone, I shall be thinking of you all, and I will get in when I can.

Keep my seat warm until I get back

Love and warm stuff
as always

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
