I pray thee, lift this child on angels wings
and heal the hearts this sadness brings
help these parents hearts to heal
through this pain that they now feel.
Cradle this precious child with your love
as you take him home to heaven above.....

{Mark and Davonna, my heart and soul
weeps with yours......
I am here my friends..........}

If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream...

Yea... almost brough tears to my eyes.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

There is nothing sadder than parents who lose a child.

My heart reaches out to them. I hope your beautiful words will help bring some healing to them.

Hugs, Marti

wow...this one did make me cry.
As a parent, I think the very hardest thing in this world would be to lose your precious child. I cannot imagine the grief & pain that the parents go through.
This poem was beautiful, I hope it brings some comfort to your friends during this sad time for them.
God Bless...

He, who has the biggest heart
causes from a divine earth to depart
An innocent glee of childhood
fashioned from branch of gopherwood

and there, by His side,
shall he keep them safe
and warm their souls
preparing their wings on Heaven's lathe.

For us, it is the greatest loss
when a child's life has tremendous cost
He, as shepherd, shall this soul be led
As God kisses his cheek
and strokes his head.

~sigh~
I am so sorry for this, Donna, that
this had to happen this way.  Give
hugs generously, and give love when
pain is abundant.

It is so difficult to know what to say...
perhaps that is why we fold our hands and bow our heads...
and say a prayer...

Donna - A lovely prayer that has already been answered. Chris

Donna, I read this earlier today and in all honesty, couldn't find adequate words to not only express the loveliness of your poem, but my prayers for all.  God bless each of you.

My heart goes out to them.

Howl at the stars, whisper when you're sleeping, I'll be there to hold you, I'll be there to stop the chills and all the weeping.

Donna,  we never understand why God takes
a child so young from our lives...We can
only try to have faith that He has taken
the child home.....  I know their grief is
great at this moment and I hope the best
for them,  for their recovery from this
loss...

Thank you for expressing to them what we all
feel as well...
