This text of masks that we both write
Before we seal passion's delight
These words of love that mask desire
Can fan the flames to fuel the fire
Distance keeps our hearts in flight
With texts of masks that we both write

For text in masks can help us feel
Give strength to words that make us real
When loneliness sings heartfelt song
The text of masks can keep us strong
We lose ourselves to rampant peel
And use those masks to hold the seal

Drawn text of masks will hide the pain
To portray the sun when there is rain
To give out hope where there is none
And paint a portrait of day's sun
To signify spring comes again
Those text of masks one true refrain

For text in masks is what we wear
When life is more than we can bear
When reaching out will take a lie
And hope is all we have, or die
Although it may not seem so fair
The mask of text can show we care

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

But when midnight comes and we grow bold,
we drop the mask and bare the soul,
and find a freedom we can hold,
embrace the warm, and leave the cold.

Sometimes the text unmasks and is enough, the release sufficient and the distant felt nod of approval spur to another breath, another step forward. Enjoyed.

the texture in your text of masks is finely woven

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

And here is where we really come to un-mask.
This is lovely, Keth...

From behind the mask, the words come.

Thank you.
