A songbird sings not once, I think
but twice, then thrice before the morn,
As a stylus dips in ink,
A tune anew is promptly born.

A poet's fury onto the page,
the songbird's call unto the sky,
sings its master's wishful sage,
and hopes of everlasting "I."

Fine piece of writing. I enjoyed it very much.

Welcome back, Streen...

this was a reading poet's delight...
my timing was perfect
to catch a glimpse of this in the early
wee hours...

thank you...
