Treading

I tread a path that billions tread
Some alive but most are dead
Lit by lanterns fueled by why
Washed by tears of billions cry.

To this I add, one candle more
To light the way to questions door
A candlelight that bears my sigh
This insignificant singles try

I serve it to eternity
On a platter of fraternity
Burn my tallow as all the rest
And try my very, very best.

I, as others would find the light
That light that weds forever’s night
That bright that spreads when we are bed
Into eternals freedom led

Each candle lights a small hello
The only truth I really know.

We could light the night with all the tendered truth you know ...
your wisdom's wile sparks the moon and stars in silvered glow.
The sequestered sun rises and sets in sequential successions ...
fueled by curiosities desire burning in seek of unanswered questions.

Never stop searching the wonderment of what, when or why ...
all answers will be found in these pages bound by the words of Sy.

Seymour darling heart, late yet again, although I’ve been popping in and out today a lot, sent here to gather the dew of delight you leave in these pages blue. Krissy wants to read some of her favourite poets on the plane and so I’ve been gathering gems for her. There is a little batch from you, and a few select others for her to read and then let her mind roam at will over a landscape of poetic beauty.

A candle’s flame flies your soul’s why
Over the mountains up to the sky
There in the clouds the angels sigh
Collecting poems written by Sy
Each poet’s word an angel’s breathes
The soft words falling like autumn’s leaves
To each question they say the same
The answer’s held in this poet’s name
A gift from you of words so wise
Then wrapped in wonder and served in sighs
The flickering of your soul’s clear light
Takes it far into the dark of night
I would listen to their refrain
To learn the meaning held in your name
This is exquisite writing and I love it utterly utterly utterly love it

Not long now ........ getting closer

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
