Poetic Itch

There’s a prickling
that wants to be scratched -
sometimes it’s quelled
by quick drags of fingernail
across parched skin;
mostly, it appears
in the inaccessible vertebrae.
We merely tickle the edges;
clawing at the itch
we’ll never reach.

(giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, you don't want to get near me, for I always have so many ideas going through my head and hae a bad case of poetic poison ivy! LOL! It sure is contagious but I like it, this is beautiful, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Corinne, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

PiP has given me poetic hives.  Do I itch a scratch or scratch and itch?

Toerag's reply cracked me up!

If he has any Calamine lotion to spare, I now have a need for some of that stuff myself!

Finding the words was never so satisfying.
