To the Faire,
I must go as She,
Lady Ollyne enticed by He,
Dressed ever the part
Romanced by a heart,
Of a rogue, who's in love with me.

As darkness
Approaches the night,
I must fly destination "Delight"
To reach haven's nest
To meet poets, blessed
With words of indelible write.

just waiting for Sunday....

The fair going to the faire,
Be you the Lady also?  May your Sunday be blessed.

the_loner_23..thanks..I was just writing about what Sunday means to me..sort of a poetic assignment

Sir Knight of Colour,
I like that:
"The fair going to the faire"
And yes I am also the Lady...and at times I  am Alicethruglass...but not this week..this week I am excited
And I thank you for the blessing.
M

Margie...oh my...I am almost wearing myself out in thought...well I still don't have a very good voice...and I am talking to no one...sighing~
Yes,I am working on your poetry booklets, still

Hugggsss back

wrapped in robes
fair silk opaque
the light of you
shines even on
darkest night
to guide my hands
and heart
so that
I
fondly find
the center
unwrapping
what you share

Softened that smile? hmmmmm.....

It would in time
be that I forget
what in monnlight
my eyes did glance
with greed upon
but the words
painted hues
of you
will eternity
remain

of wagging tongue:

unlike that which follows a dog
in cheerful recognition of passing master
one's tongue should not wag
at passing words

Who would talk my friend.... I am a harmless fool and you a lady.... surely no such mean spirited soul exist here in poetry land...

oh it was a passing thought...

I think I may take your words above..and  accompany  them with those of my own...
is that ok?

feel free to use as you would like...

and passing thoughts are indeed often the best kind...

In what hour of this night
do the hands not lay upon some
minute or second
I have not thought of you?

Is there not some space
in between this real
and the next
to allow me passing thought
of something else?

Be Damned time!!!

I would not your slave be
but for the humanity of me
trapped here now
in this plane
to wait
one minute second
for minutes to pass

Though 'tis just passing thought
I have made room for all
that comes from thy hand..
at the moment you overwhelm
my own thoughts, thus making me
linger... a bit longer ..
than I had wished...
You are a devil...
a sweet one!
Thank you for letting me
continue to smile...and
look for a poem,
from your words to mine,
later this evening or
in the morn.
hugss

A devil??? Surely thou are not speaking such of me..for I am but a jester...with small wit to confound and amuse those of court that would listen.... yet of enough bumbling ineptitude to find favor in their eyes... how so could a devil sweat or sour be served to court? My fortune would crumble as if a cookie in childs hand if perhcance the image of me with horns should cross the mind of others. I must entreat you not pile sticks at my feet chopped fine for fire as there would be those who in careless fashion who drop a torch and I am not Phoenix's child to rise from ashes...

you can't resist can you...
I shall have to return in the morning,
to respond to words that capture my attention tonight...
