All this time Hiding in the shadows Passing through Story book rhymes and riddles Always thought myself To be the Ugly Duckling Never would I allow myself to escape The basis of a mere fantasy Trapped within my mind And drowning within the sands of time I still considered myself An Ugly Duckling Many Princes have come along the way Swooning over my beauty Yet I still felt unworthy Till you came along Riding galantly Head strong To show me That there is life Outside of the shadows And story book rhymes and riddles For once I do believe When you tell me I am the most Beautiful Swan you've ever seen And never again will I ever think twice Nor feel like An Ugly Duckling...  (big hugggsssssss) Oh Kristen, I know just how you feel, I always felt before I ever knew Joanna that I was a very ugly duckling and I was sad and felt no one would ever love me, but Joanna has given me so much faith and sunshine and I know with a golden heart like yours now you are a beautiful dove to so many and will bring great happiness to so many everyday!
