A friend asks
If you can help them
With moving
Of course you say yes
You want to help in anyway possible

For the help they offer you
Food and drink in return
Which is a good thing
Especially when you work up
A major appetite

Anyway you can help a friend
Is a way to show them
You really care
They don't always have to pay you back
But it is nice when they do

Helping friends
Keeps the relationship strong
No matter what
No matter what goes wrong

Cold hands means a warm heart

True. Good thoughts here, Julie.
But the truth is, I cringe when someone needs help moving. But I've done it many times, for as you said, it's good to help a friend.

I learned only recently what it means to have a friend and to be a friend. Now, I am very pleased to be aware. I can really appreciate this poem because for once I understand it's truth. Thank you.

(smiles) Yes, helping friends is a wonderfully compassionate thing to do and your heart shines with such love for all! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!
