Moved from a shack to a barn

Ten small paintings by Victor Hartmann inspired Mussorgski to write corresponding piano pieces.
Later, Ravel fully orchestrated Mussorgskis' work.

Here, I undo all that was done, before

v.     Trilbi

A skittering chitter
Of fleeting peepings
Silly yellow swirlings

vi.     Rich Man, Poor Man

Samuel,
A man
In prosperous pose
With gold accrued
In costly clothes

His home, a shrine
To gods of trade

From the bones of poor
His bread is made

Schmuyle
A man
Of meager means
Eats brittle meals
Of bread and beans

Slow in pace and
Thin in wealth
His home of cold
Erases health

vii.     Limoges (The Market)

In walls of wind
And floor of straw
This market offers
Nearly all
To haggles’ gaggle
Bustles’ jostle
Silks, in bolt or
Spice in stalls
Jugs of milk
And honeyed wine
Crocks of salt
Drinks of malt
And silver, fine
Offered here in
Comings’ goings
Cries of “mine!”
And ovine lowing
~wranx

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

Absolutely truly fine, everyone you've not undone!

My favorites are the 1st and the last, but I'd not in any way want to miss the middles!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

You didn't even need to issue the challenge,
wranx.
These are exquisite, dusty gleams.

(rises in standing ovation) Yay!!! Oh my gosh, I just have to hear these samplings of Mussorgski now, you truly compose these symphonies with words, I love it, it is amazing how art can reply and everything within it is interconnected, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Wranx, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
