Filled With Inspire (a tribute to Mysteria)

I met a special woman here,
A poet I admire …
She has a certain zest for life
That fills me with inspire.

Her words and verse come from her heart,
They fill me with delight;
Some soft and introspective …
Others whimsical and light.

She shares her past, through lessons learned,
With wisdom and with care,
While reaching out to those in need,
Whom others may not dare.

She writes true life and fiction,
Weaves a tale, from start to end;
And when she writes a Tori-story …
What a gift she's penned!

She has a special energy
Unlike I've ever seen,
A liveliness that drives her on
To heights I've never been.

She's brought me such enjoyment,
Sometimes tears and laughter too;
Each time I open up her verse,
I'm in for something new.

Her sentiments on life and love,
Remind me of my own …
It's through her words and poetry,
That "I" feel less alone.

I knew her through her words
Before we had a chance to meet ...
This special someone
Whose poetic words are such a treat.

She touched my heart before we met,
Through words upon a page,
And evermore, the pen and quill
Should be her center stage.

She's such an inspiration,
She's the reason for this write …
"To know her, is to love her",
And to read her … my delight.

Written for one of our special poets by another one of our special poets. You both are lovely people - it shows in the reading and the writing of this poem.

This verse said it all for me and captures her spirit so well. I have been on the receiving end of her kindness and learned from her example as well.
Come to think of it...I can say the same of the poetess who penned this wonderful tribute.
So good to find your sweet smile here today ..I havent been able to be here as much of late so I am glad I didnt miss you
heart-hugs to both Poetess's of Delight

Agreed. It is true, Sharon has energy to spare. It was difficult to keep up with her when we were charging around Vancouver this summer. We didn't do half the things on her list of must-do's, and yet saw (and shopped!) over half of Vancouver in three days!
Great poem, Kit.

Kit,
Well what a tribute...from one sweet poet to another. May I add that she has been a Godsend to my life this year. And for that gift I will always be grateful. But where was my head...I should have written this.
Excellent.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thank you one and all, for
All your thoughtful comments here,
Our Sharon (sweet Mysteria),
Is such a special dear.

She brightens up so many hearts,
With stories she has penned,
I count my lucky stars
That I can also call her "friend".

*~*

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments.
Sharon is indeed a special part of Passions,
and a friend that I love dearly.

Thank you for the phonecall Sharon …
it was wonderful to hear your voice again.
You sure bring a smile to me,
both through your poetry,
and your friendship.

Best wishes and hugs to all,
/Kit

Here I am - better late than never, as they say... and Kit - You've got Sharon 'in a nutshell' as they say... Oh.. I take that back - She'd never stay in a shell for long.. Well - She's a nut, anyway...

This is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful lady who steps far beyond herself each and every day to help others in need.  I salute you, Sharon - and you, Kit.. for such a superb poetic expose...
