There is a valley...where no man durst go.
And oft of an evening, an unearthly glow...
From every cranny, and fold of earth, rolls-
To herald the presence: the Eater of Souls!

Ancient and evil...from time beyond measure...
Seeking, devouring...the race' greatest treasure.
Call it a demon...whatever! It waits...
It hungers this evening... blood lusts are it's traits.

Old, ere the land rose out of the seas-
Cold and malignant, it's scent on the breeze.
Horror and dread, are what the night holds...
"My guests are long dead," saith the Eater of Souls.

Where is this evil? The question oft asked-
To formulate answers, I fear's quite a task...
"At what dread location, this thing might I find?"
Ah, this evil dwells deep in the back of the mind.

Straight to the heart of the matter in this one. There is no hiding from darkness when it is deeply imbedded in your own soul.
