All the poems of love we’ve found, All the poems of love we’ve lost… Makes a fool like me to wonder, Why does it come at such a cost? Amid the heartache, Amid the tears… Is this really what life is about- Searching for all these years? Make each moment special, Live life with no regrets… Is this the smartest thing to do? Placing all your bets? What makes him so special? Why must I love him so? Is there someone else out there, Will I ever know? Will something in my heart tell me, That I need to search no more? Will I ever feel he loves me, too? Will I ever know for sure? Playing all these silly games, Am I just wasting time? Maybe instead of searching for love, I’ll just search for words that rhyme…. (Hee, hee – just threw that last part in there for fun!  ) |
