{the first and last I shall ever write of it's kind}

Flatter not
As intended
My meaning a study in futility
Arsenal built on one opinion
A waste of such ability...
Musing me?

A whispered dare
Careless remark
A scathing report
Whispered in the dark
Thoughtlessly,  you then embark
On this journey, musing me?

Flatter do
With scrutiny
My every word
Importantly
Read,  rated,
Good or hated?
Regardless,
You are musing me

Ignorance,
Is bliss in flight
As your opinions,
Come to night
Thrown outside to
Matter not
& like your face,
Is soon forgot

The last to ever leave these tips
The last of you through parted lips
Leaf through my pages, deeply sip
Thank you for a-musing me...

Isn't that the truth, flattery will get you no where, even though it works temporarily!
You said it so well, kinda like saying,
"bite me my muse"  lol~

BRAVO!!! Yes, I agree so much, I feel flattery may work at some chances but eventually you only flatter yourself and become flattened! (big hugggssssss) This is powerful wonderful writing, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tiersdin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Thanks everyone, it's interesting to read your take on this work (which in my opinion sucks terribly!) I had a totally different thought in writing it. I'd experienced being the muse of someone on another site that I belong to and it seemed as if this person read everything I'd contributed and penned their negative poems accordingly.  That's also why I'd written that I would never write such a poem ever again because then I'd be no better than him/her.

Thank you all for your kind comments!

*hugs*

The unwanted muse perhaps?  If only if it were so true.

Thank you.
