My power gone, I face the beast.
Upon my sould he came to feast!
It seems I'm dead before I start.
I lost my angel and my heart.
The monster approaches with icy will,
Closer and stronger, and larger still.
My power fades and yet I'm strong?
My angel's now been gone too long!
How could I allow myself to die?
Why weaken my soul? Oh, tell me why!
If she were here now, this fiend would run!
He'd see my power; I'd slay him for fun!
Such darkness I find in this empty void.
Now I'm spent - with me he toyed!
He unleashes his strength and prepares to strike,
His claws are long like steel pikes.
But wait! That light! Could that be...?
Has my angel returned to me?
I feel the warmth from in her soul,
Then leap back up, healed, to reach my goal.
With one strong blow my fist has won!
With just one punch that weighed a ton,
I toppled the beast with all my might!
It seems to you that I won the fight...
But it was her, the angel of love,
Bringing divine strength from above.
