Just a Drop

give me a drop of sun
or a bit of moonlight’s glow
give me a rainbow’s life
the part that sparks the flow
of colors cross the sky
in sweet array of hues
oh, give me the twinkling light
that glimmers tears anew

I'm sure Sunshine would give you that drop of sunshine that you would like
---and I most certainly, will share with you, some of the gold I found at the rainbow's end

thank you, both, we all need a bit of light, even when the sun is brightly shining

sometimes it's hard to see its worth
when we're busy at our pining
