(This is a poem I wrote on September 11th, which the most saddest part to me is thinking of the children and how they are going to be safe from the tears and visions. God Bless them all and all of you and America and those who reach out to us across the world! )

Don't Stop Dreaming
By: Noah Eaton
3/2/02

Sometimes the skies are blanketed in gray
I feel God is lightyears away from me
Tears of angels slide down this vapor canvas
Painting silver linings I still strive to see
I close my eyes and pray
How can we make all these tears seem bright?
I fall upon my hands and knees
I fall on my bed and cry

But I know I must go on and try
Although I'm hurt I must try and fly
Like Peter Pan I will think happy thoughts
I know I'm not the only one feeling this way

Children of the world...
Don't stop dreaming
God Bless your hearts
Believe you can fly...
Children...
Don't stop dreaming
Hold onto your dreams
Sweet dreams tonight...

There come times when life can be so cruel
I for one am a witness to sadness
But I know a friend in me
Who's taught me He will promise us justice
He has shown me hope
He encourages me to spread my wings
I may be no angel
But I know how to cry...

But I know I must go on and try
Although I'm hurt I must try and fly
Like Peter Pan I will think happy thoughts
I know I'm not the only one feeling this way

Children of the world...
Don't stop dreaming
God Bless your hearts
Believe you can fly...
Children...
Don't stop dreaming
Hold onto your dreams
Stay safe tonight...

But I know I must go on and try
Although I'm hurt I must try and fly
Like Peter Pan I will think happy thoughts
I know I'm not the only one feeling this way

Children of the world...
Don't stop dreaming
God Bless your hearts
Believe you can fly...
Children...
Don't stop dreaming
Hold onto your dreams
Stay safe tonight...

Come child, come in out of the smoke
I will give you love, I will give you hope

"Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..."

Noah, this is so very beautiful, and my heart also goes out to the children, most of all. They are the innocent victims, and their world has been forever changed. But they will also be the ones to make it better, and because of that, we must guide them out of the smoke, my friend....

Excellent writing Noah, it warmed my heart...

God Bless the children of the world
for they are the hope of tomorrow.

Thank you Noah ... Marti

Every now and then take a good look at something not made
with hands -- a mountain, a star, the power of the ocean.
There will come to you wisdom,

Many children were badly hurt by the events of 9/11. You show great understanding, Noah....

Dearest Noah, what a kind and caring heart you have. Well done!! Chris

"Come in out of the smoke - I will give yo love, I will give you hope." Beautiful. And we will, we must, children do so for us everyday. Thank you for a wonderful piece and a sweet reminder to give a smile to a child, renew the strength in all our hearts because hope and faith are ultimately strength.

I had a strange dream just after 9-11.A little girl was asking Ben Laden why he killed her daddy. In this dream Ben Laden just turned his back on her and walked away.
