A bear is slowly walking Down the snow covered hills In a drunken stupor Slids down the hill And does a flip And wonders What happened to me A cat is playing With the empty toilet paper holders And gets it stuck on his head Runs around like Get it off A cat goes crazy Just because On the inside A person is pointing A finger at him A woman pays a dollar To see how a camel kisses The camel licks her mouth And she goes running A dog is on the bed The pillow isn't soft enough So he starts to fluff The pillow Oh what a mess There are truly funny animals Out in the world today They are truly unique And not always trained Cold hands means a warm heart |

 My mom's got a fat old cat who sleeps on top of the wall-heater. It's not as big as she is, and sometimes she falls off. It has to hurt, but she always gets up and walks away like she MEANT to fall off! She's hilarious.  Nan(Pilgrim variety) |

Oh what a cute poem, Julie... I used to have a cat that answered the telephone... I had to train either a pet or a child to do something... it was an assignment for a psychology class in graduate school... My kids were untrainable so I trained the cat... This was in the days before answering machines... Every time the phone rang, he would knock it off the hook and meow into it... and then there was the chipmunk who wanted to mate with the stone chipmunk on our sundial....
