a blanket
from a dryer, warm
draped in comfort
shoulders bare
a cloud across
a red sun sky
a breeze
to fill my lungs with air
a gentle palm
upon my cheek...
a kiss of wish
that I dream sweet,
water, clean and crisp on tongue
easing parch of longing's drought.

I feel old
you make me young
and ease the sweat of nightmare's doubt...
you've become my only one
I fight the urge to dance and shout.

company, and promised care
moistened nectar easing pout
restoring faith
from loveless fate--
I prance a peacock's boast of flout.

You, have made me beautiful
your company a key that fits
the empty space within my chest
transforming my remorselessness--
the core of me, an atom, split--

You are my priest. I have confessed.

Ahh, Serenity, very gentle smile. And is the confession no more than all of us want? You make it sing with softness...

I prefer the Black Angel's Death Song, bri. Of course, now I'm going to look up track 9 and see it IS that -- or isn't.

This line a powerful ending. Gave me shivers and I'm not even sure why! A most intense write.

Sometimes I find I am never quite certain of my feelings until I actually "confess" them---grin--that's right, sometimes I even ignore MYSELF...chuckles, and thanks to all, but most of all to my inspiration.

Michael Auguste? Thank you, and you flatter me my friend. As I told Christopher once, I don't consider it art or anything--I just get in moods, get a bad buzz, write some bad poetry and the next day, I say, "What?" chuckle, but thank you...

Magnus and Earth Angel...ooops...almost typed Earth Angle thank you much, and you just reminded me that I need to drop a reply to that gorgeous duet from the two of you...(sometimes I reads, sometimes I types, and sometimes I just forget...sigh, forgive me) Thanks all.

...a cloud across
a red sun sky...

I read this the other day...then I got interrupted.
I was interrupted several more times...
and now I'm finally back
to say
...
thanks!

(sigh) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
