The thunder rolls the heavens above
With lightning crash to push and shove
Battered land and helpless face
Yet to cause the soul to brace

Reeling with the blows that strike
The heart not torn with evil’s spike
Resolve comes forth when overcome
Letting be known they never won

We count the dead and cry the tear
Deep inside we hid the fear
It takes the fear to know the brave
With lump in throat so the flag will wave

From Bunker Hill to lands far flung
Liberty’s Bell has always rung
Let the warning ring out clear
We hold our lives and land quite dear

Evil does come with snarling face
To be crushed with God’s good grace
Wave the flag with strong resolve
Let children be led with no devolve

For up to us, it is to be
Over mountain, to prairie and to the sea
To stand counted strong to never give in
For sometimes we lose to learn to win

Logan, you have been too long gone from the blue halls.  We have missed you.  When you do come home, you bring the wisdom of our years together as a Nation for all to hear, heed, and take comfort.

Bless you...

Now please, put the rucksack down, warm yourself by the fire, and stay for awhile...

Logan, so good to see you here.
You have been greatly missed.
Much enjoyed your pearls of wisdom today.
Please sit by the fire....stay awhile.
