Well I have landed as she told you Right there in Nan's lap After having a fastfood bite I was ready for my late nap I started the day at 8.00 am My local time that is And I closed it at 6.00 next day So the whole night I missed Nan is really a sweetiepie Trying to make things right What a surprise from Sunshine I got Little red shoe from Oz, shining bright I'm sitting here at the library Where Nan is teaching some kids I saw Nan's daughter with flying squirrels That made me go out on me wits The cutest little animals she was holding in this box of her You could be right there Balladeer When you're with Nan things just occur And Marti is on the bus already Driving to Falmouth in a hurry We'll have lunch and a bite of laughter A drink of friendship and icecream flurry Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Mmmm! I love "dutchies" ---they're so sweet on the outside, and soft on the inside, and they make me feel so good! Glad you had a safe trip! Enjoy your time with kindred spirits! Give Marti a big hug for me---and keep one for yourself! P.S.---dutchies in my neck of the woods, are a type of donut----but the description I gave of them, aptly describes you as well! Titia forgot to tell you that she found the little baby flying squirrels on the middle of her living room floor... and two miraculously survived after their bout with all of the resident felines.. There are lots more in the roof rafters.. Cute poem, Tee'Tseeah...  |
