My Valley Green

I live in a valley-tinted gray
Though ever planting green to the scene
Walk in this valley every day
Keep spreading the seed on the lean.

I’ve seeded this valley all my life
And tended it with a tender care
And then I gave it to my wife
And now we both plant green to share.

The valley does not get much sun
The mountains seem to block the rain
But we feed it with sleuths of run
And water feeds the green of grain.

It’s not an easy way to live
But toils will sooth a barren soil
As every day needs some give?
So it is with human toil

So tend your valley make it green
And you will have the real to glean.

(smiles) Oh Seymour, this is wonderful, this reminds me of what Lynwood L. Giacomini says, "Like a gardener, I believe that what goes down must come up!" Just keep harvesting in name of God and your grasses will always be green, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Though I feel as though I'm walking thru the valley of death right now, I shall fear no evil, the only fear I have right now, is the fear of another "upheaval"......I can't breathe, can' hear, my nose is stopped, my eyes are teared, I think of your valley, so green and fair, think soon I'd like to be buried there.....this is beautiful "sigh"......if I had a voice I'd call you and tell you...thank God for valleys and computers and nasal spray.

Noah,
Always enjoy your answers.

Toe,
Take some chicken soup an asprir and call me in the morning. Then I'll tell you to take some more chicken soup and an asprir and call me in the morning. If that don't work then your not sick. Feel better my friend.

Sitting here in serious chuckle, not over the poem, which was ever-right as only you write, but in the reply to Toe, which was as serious as a doctor of the soul can get...

slurp soup, Toe...
and know that you will write tomorrow....

and Sy?  You're the Guy!

Sunshine,
Thank you dear and I think the perscription is correct for Toe. Glad you enjoyed.

Enchantress,

Earth angel,

Somehow, green is my color today,
so I thought I'd slip this way
to see some green that reads serene
and bump this for a little more play...

truly true
and there are many shades of green
some may appear as gray to thee
yet, with a closer look, you've seen,
you've fed them to a form of green

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

The closing. Love this one as well as so many others.  Enjoyed the rest of the poem, too. So, very true!

Plant a valley
seed it green
with sprouts of love
it smiles serene
neath skies of clouds
and sun aglow
chipmunks scamper
to and fro
