It's seven o'clock
tick tock, tick tock,
I don't know what to do,
I'll write a bit,
as here I sit,
that's just what I will do.
An apples red,
bugs in a bed,
flowers on the lawn,
bluebirds flying,
neighbors prying,
bishop takes a pawn.
Towers falling,
mothers calling,
Asking questions why,
Rabbies kneeling,
Church bells peeling,
why did the people die?
Iran, Iraq,
atomic clock,
Osama, are you dead?
Religous hate,
is it too late?
New York was glowing red,
Ground zero's hole,
Flag on a pole,
We haven't lost our way,
Our fight's not done,
we stand as one,
Praise be the U.S.A.
It's seven o' eight,
it's getting late,
praise be the U.S.A.

Tim

Sometimes there's just too much to take in...and yet

"Our fight's not done,
we stand as one"

I understand how you are feeling.

We're still asking.  As with all questions put to Him, the answer will come in His time.  We may not see it, or hear it, and if we do either, we may not understand it; but it will always be, in His time.

stream of consciousness as an exercize? hmmm...what a concept! Actually, most of what I write is just that! But then? admittedly I edit forty million times...(just ask RON) You should come to one of the open Mic nights (although the timing is kind of bad for me most times as it happens during the middle of my family rush hour and my computer is located in the middle of my universe over here) but ask Sharon (PdV) about when the next one will be scheduled. I enjoyed this, but am curious to know what YOU thought of it--
