Of one thing I am certain
An artist I am not
For realism is my style
Abstracts are not my lot

It saddens me the hours
I've spent with loving care
Just painting stories of true life
That no one seems to share

Bold and bright is beautiful
Though subject be unknown
'Tis left for one to second guess
At what the artist's shown

So slap the paint on anyway
And put the price quit high
Some critic who can't paint himself
Will think it quite a buy!

They say to let the viewer
Imagine what he may
And don't make it, too obvious
What you're trying to say

So maybe my next painting
Should be an empty page
I'll call it, "Winter Snowstorm"
And join the new art age!

(smiles) Oh Linda, I must admit I am a huge fan of the abstract and romantic art, but I do respect all arts and understand how you feel! (kiss on cheek) It seems so quickly now there is one new art age after another, this is wonderfully said, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Linda, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

You said this very well, Linda...
I have always had those thoughts but never put them into words as well as you have...
But, one thing.....
I think you should make just a few swirls of white paint on that canvas... just so it looks like you painted something

Noah---I wrote that poem in my earlier years as an artist. It was so frustrating to me at that time---but as with all of life, there are cycles---now paintings of representational realism are very popular---and that makes me very, very happy!

Have a good evening sweet prince of the PIP people.

Madame Chipmunk---That is terrific advice!

I'll swirl some white paint as you suggest, but you should sign your name on the painting as well----I wouldn't want to take all of the credit!

Take Care
