These Winds Are Storied Around Here

These winds are storied around here,
Tapestries of the G_ds loosely hanging
In thin shades of precipitancy,
Knightly envisioned dragon-beaters,
Shredded leaf a foe and afoul
With the ostentatious tears quietly falling,
Puddled in the ostensible gleam
Of all remembrances of fallen lies,
Given life as wings and lost in the delusion
Of flight; the bounty is hidden in
A dead-red arcanum once the world turns blue.

And if the world were broke in two,
As if the sky had had a few
Too many years raped and askew
With thoughts of winds lingering to
The north where downy dreams flew,
Balanced on hopes that boiled and grew
Naturally in the solemn flue
Of a woman’s mind with a darker hue,
There engaged and lingering through
That dim askant thought of whom
The onus thus longed and knew,
That she may afford again to see the view
As strong as once the forging wind blew.

The winds are coiffuring autumn leaves,
Dancing some ancient prayer
Carved on the backbones of clay caves,
Air too assiduous to bellow the countless
Cries of a woman quaffed
From the meters of a spoiled, wasted life;

These winds are storied and drawing near

Dia

This is heavy, with words and emotional power.  Well done!

I must admit the rhyming in the second verse threw me until I read it again, then your poem blew me away

This, read aloud, is a gale. Powerful and relentless.

Takes ones breath.

(big hugggsssssss) This is powerfully intense, sweet friend, I hope this does not reflect you and is fictional though I know this grieving feeling so well! (sigh) Well-done, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
